INSIDES is an interactive journey through the inner worlds of five unique characters. The Waiting Room is the place where the characters are, and where we can choose them, to be introduced into their inner world. According to our choice, we can then access to five particular stories: - Woman Nature, a universe that shows an animal side, wild and feminine. A transformation of femininity into felinity. From the human to the animal. - Sunset Laboral, a woman in front of a group of men with whom she interacts in an innocent, aggressive, provocative, sweet, cold. Force- fragility-duality. Descend-ascend. - Hooger Laundry, a character that multiplies in obsessive paths and actions inside a laundry. - Love Kitchen, the invasion of space by bodies. Sensuality. Physical contact. Looks. Meetings. Excitement. - Le Trompetiste, a musical menage a trois. Two women and a trumpeter. A fight in sync. |

Eve - dance is an unplaceable place

Eve is a mix media project based on 3 experiences of EVR (Embodied Virtual Reality) and a live participative dance performance. The performance takes place in a 10 x 10 meters space, with a duration of 25 minutes and 4 dancers, which also includes the 3 simultaneous experiences of EVR of 10 minutes each for 3 users from the audience. The experiences are reproduced in the VR headsets and also on 3 TV screens simultaneously so the rest of the audience (up to 100 persons) can follow the VR narrative. Eve watches us as we enter the room. She looks calm, but something about her is unsettling. For this primordial ritual, she is surrounded by three duets: spectator- participants sporting Oculus VR headsets and their dancer-partners. In this Embodied Virtual Reality performance, a participatory dialogue is created among real and virtual dancers. VR experiencers are transported to unexpected geographies within 360 degree dance films and multisensory body ownership illusions, made visible via simultaneous projections to onlookers sitting around the room. How might it feel to slip into the skin of a dancer? |
