Father and son. Secrets unsaid and unembraced grudges separate them. A wall that guards silences, withheld tears, glances and shy contact. The lack of communication. In spite of it, the desire to embrace everything because they are the same story.

I Am Still Waiting, comes from the restless and still of isolation and a self-imposed attempt to rewild oneself back into life. The text prose by Elena Hecht and performance by Leslie Kraus express an untethering from memory and a dissolution into pastoral abyss. The work was filmed in residency on location in Longford, Ireland.

“Morning” is a dance film dedicated to those we've lost to the Covid-19 pandemic. Produced by award winning dance filmmaking duo, Wilder Project, the film honors the grief that has accompanied us through this period. In an exploration of aliveness, transition, and catharsis, the dancers claw through different textures of earth and water with a sense of reverence and surrender. Set to a reimagining of the traditional Appalachian spiritual, “Bright Morning Stars”, “Morning” reminds us of the beauty of the sand under our feet and the breath in our lungs, and asks its viewers to consider that our collective reflection inspire us to create a world where we all can live.

Time
China WeiSheng Xu, Lingzhi Zhang 2022|03‘26 x
Time is a cycle of rupture, decay, shedding and disappearance, as if flowing in a form visible to the naked eye. When it disappears, only the track of the body's existence is left. It seems that there are traces to follow, but it is also increasingly mottled. When standing in a dilapidated space, he was imprinted with the passage of time. The body here is only a portrait of nature. Without the slightest deliberate manipulation and decoration, it slipped and fell repeatedly, as if it were a drop of dust, gently scattered. So repeated, with the passage of every minute and second, and quietly silent. |
Feng.Liu

"Wind" and "Flow" In Chinese, write FENG and LIU are universal and common natural images that exist in different forms in all corners of the world. Turbulent, placid and extended, this language of naturalness is not to be over-translated. In China's unique cultural and ideological system, combining the two words has fused into a transcendent spirituality and an expansive attitude toward life. When we focus our attention on the Wei and Jin dynasties, taking medicine and drinking wine, singing and drinking furiously, resting in the spiritual corners of the self and seeking the ultimate expression of individual pleasure, we again reach a coincidental consistency with the spirit of Dionysus in ancient Greek mythology. We have attempted to present a culturally penetrating body language in a readable and comprehensible expression, inquiring into and exploring the traditional Chinese intention of "Feng" and "Liu". |

Enter
China Jiang Xiong 2022|01'10 x
The creative environment "Old Factory" has a reinforced concrete "labyrinth-type" structure, showing a staggered perspective and density relationship between the pitches. Combined with the dynamic and static contrast between the body and the building, a logical relationship for the image is created. . We can't predict everything that will happen, but behind every story is an "entry" and a transition from "unknown to known". |
