Solarliod

Germany | 2015 | 8'15

"Solarliod" is inspired by a poem of the Eddas, an important collection of nordic mythology from the 13th century, which mainly is about society, faith and nature.Solarliod creates images for the apocalyptic allusions of the correspondent poem and reinterpretes them into a contemporary understanding and context.By the means of only one individual we contemplate society and its limits, where its structure becomes a distress and solitude turns into a personal hell. The massive nature of Iceland is the setting and catalyser of an inner conflict and mutates to be the opponent force in a struggle with the demanding, contradictory modern society and the own fragility and shortcoming.

South Korea | 2017 | 10'46

This  a ‘city space dance project’ which expresses the trajectory and value of ‘Sewoon Plaza’ and ‘Nakwon Building’ through gestures. At the ‘Nakwon Apartment’ where numerous landmarks are kept and encompassed, the artistic sharing method of the ‘urban space-body-text’ is proposed. On the square shaped in Nakwon Apartment, the dancers perform games with certain rules. This is the language of lost things and the song of the things we want to remember told through the body on top of the Nakwon Apartment, the first multipurpose building in Seoul.

Here and Now

Italy | 2018 | 6'19

Hic et Nunc. "Here and now" is the literal translation of this famous Latin phrase attributed to Horace. Used by several philosophical currents, it assumes meanings with different nuances, all of which can be traced back to a simple thought: all our actions are performed here and now, in the immediacy of the present; the past and the future, however important, are memories, time flows inexorably and life is here and now. A straight line, an abandoned place in which past lives echo, a sequence plan to say that the present is the only dimension in which one really lives.
